Artifort’s Pierre Paulin Orange Slice Inspired Footstool

The Orange Slice Footstool (P437) is the complement to Pierre Paulin’s Orange Slice Chair.  Anyone who sees several Pierre Paulin Orange Slice Chairs grouped together cannot fail to be touched by the playfulness of the composition. From different visual angles, the Orange Slice and Orange Slice Footstool show several stages of ‘curl up’. In fact, the chair seems to change shape every time you look at it.

The Pierre Paulin Orange Slice chair and matching ottoman were designed in 1960.
