Ton’s Stockholm Side Chair

Created by the Danish designer Mads Johnson, the Stockholm series has become one of his contemporary signature pieces.  When Mads was just a kid growing up in a small town in Denmark, he carved and created a myriad of items from wood.  This early exploration led to his passion to create new items from wood.  It is not tough to believe that his earliest jobs were as a cabinet maker and carpenter.  After studying in Helsinki, Dallas, Munich, and Oslo, Mads started in his creation of furniture.  He designed this stunning series in 2009.

Materials:  Frame in solid natural beechwood or beechwood with stain.  Seat in solid natural beechwood, beechwood with stain, or upholstered with fabric or leather.  Stacks 5 high.
