The Malmo Chair by Ton is an original chair that comes from the studio of the Slovak designer Michal Riabič. At first sight, it is a simple chair that came into being by using a traditional structure. However, more than one peculiarity is revealed when you take a closer look. First, the back and seat are combined in compact plywood, bent by means of unique technology. The other unusual component is the connection of legs doesn’t end under the seat board but passes through it. This results in a unique structural and graphic detail. This effect is best brought out in a two-color chair version.
