Tonon’s Upholstered Step Chair with Sled Base – Model 904.93

The Step Chair 904.93 Upholstered with a sled base by Tonon is a reinterpretation of a classic modern classic styled chair.  The shell has the flowing organic shape similar to a fiberglass chair of the 1950s, though, in this design, the designer has used a polyurethane foam that fits perfectly to the body, offering a pleasant softness with the utmost comfort. 

The Step Chair was designed by Massive Design, an award-winning studio that has done numerous product designs for Fortune 500 companies.  The Step Chair was Interior Design Magazine’s Best of the Year Honoree in 2013.

Materials:  Steel rod sled base with a lacquered matte finish.  PVC glides.    Steel inner structure with skin injected foam “soft touch” polyurethane shell covered with fabric or leather.
