Artifort’s Pierre Paulin-Inspired Mushroom Footstool

The Mushroom Footstool is the complement to Pierre Paulin’s Mushroom Lounge Chair.  The Pierre Paulin Mushroom Lounge Chair is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. As one of the more influential modern classic Paulin pieces, the Mushroom lounge chair has gone on to impact contemporary furniture design.

Artifort refers to the Mushroom chair as “an armchair for all times. Sensitive yet strong. Art that is always comfortable.” We tend to think of it as a masterpiece of organic design that brightens any environment.
