BBB’s Ponti 969 Chair

The Ponti 969 Chair by Gio Ponti is a 1969 redesign of the original chair launched at the VI Triennale of Milan in 1936.  Ponti was one of the most influential architects of the 20th century. His career spanned architecture, industrial design, art, and publishing. 

The 969 Chair is exemplary of Ponti’s design. It is an example of the classical aspiration of Ponti’s style where few singular elements compound in a unique combination.
